New Binders

Hello,

I have just finished my first set of binders. They are a first attempt, so the next set should be better.

What do you think?

My wife surprised me with a Mace Windu FX Lightsaber at our wedding. During the ceremony, she had someone sneak it in the reception hall and put it on our head table, so it was one of the first things I saw when we sat down.

Im a very lucky man. :)

Good Luck on your big day, Stephanie!

I think I have read pretty much all the tutorials on this web site and others. They were all very good and provided alot of useful information. I found a McCalls pattern that will work with some minor modifications. The pattern only comes in men's sizes, so for my wife I will have to do some adjusti...

Thanks Curt.

I was going to make a black officers uniform for her and use a commander rank. Would that work?

Officers Rank

Hello, Im working on an officer's uniform for my wife. Are there any rules or regulations regarding what rank I can put on her costume? I apologize is this sounds like a silly question, but neither I nor my wife want to offend anyone if she shows up with a rank that is reserved for garrison officers...

There are several WW2 re-enactment groups in Missouri. They do alot of vehicle restoration. I would get in touch with those guys and they can probably give you some help with parts and procedures.

I have some links to some web-sites, I will see if I can find them and forward them too you.

Hello, I purchased a kit from TrikToys that is an amplifier and speakers. I installed the kit over the weekend. My only complaint is that the kit doesnt make an automatic "static burst" when you finish talking. Im also going to have to rewire the headset. It wont fit inside my helmet while...

Improvised Helmet Lens

Hello, I thought I would share with everyone my experience in making an improvised helmet lens for an FX Stormtrooper helmet. While getting my armor ready to go this weekend, I discovered a problem with the bubble lenses. They were scratched really bad and one was glued in the helmet in a very ugly ...

Oh, by the way... I know what you mean about the rivets. The person that assembled the armor previously, used alot of pop-rivets. In most places, its no big deal, but in a few places they actually hurt! I had to remove one rivet that was on the bottom of the thigh pieces because it was digging into ...

Thanks very much for the help!

Leg Armor Problem

Hello, I have just finished getting my armor together and after putting it on the first time, I noticed a problem. On my left leg, the sniper plate keeps pinching my knee between the plate and the upper leg armor. Is there any quick fix for this? My initial thought is to add some closed cell foam in...
