This year's Kansas City Planet Comicon held March 27-28, 2010 featured over 50 troopers from three garrisons in the Legion! It was truly an amazing unified effort to bring a good time to all of the fans attending the convention. The Star Wars guests at this year's convention included Honorary 501st Legion members Tom Kane, Matthew Wood, Dave Dorman and Cat Staggs. 501st Legion Friend of the Legion Jane Wiedlin was also in attendance. Also featured at the convention were Ashley Ecksteien and Cynthia Martin. The Star Wars guests were presented with 70th Explorers Garrison t-shirts. The 501st Legion was well received by convention goers and the flash of many digital cameras could be seen illuminating the convention center. A big thank you goes out to all of the Legion members from the 70th Explorers, Central, and Midwest garrisons who attended this successful annual event. See you again next year!
