Some help, please on constructing animated debut Boba Fett

Post by darth_cerbius »

Hello, everyone. (wow, I can't believe I am actually writing in the forums, I have been wanting to join for years, and now I am finally old enough!!! :) ) My first costume is almost complete, I just need a lightsaber, and it is Darth Nihilus. I need some help with my new costume idea for this year. I was thinking of doing a bounty hunter, and noticed that most were Boba Fetts. I want to construct a different Boba. I want to construct an Animated Debut Boba Fett. I already have the armor made, but I need some tips/help on the painting schemes, costume pieces, etc. I especially need help on making Boba's cow prod thing that he uses. (sorry, I can't remember what it's called right now). But any help would be great! Thanks! Oh, yeah, my brother told me to say this: I am TK-'Fro's little brother. Thanks!

Plus, if all else fails, I could always construct a custom Mando, with the animated Fett paint scheme.

Darth_Cerbius,

I call you that, because you didn't give us your real name. ;) I guess I could call you Little Fro, but while I've got the opportunity I may as well ask your real name.

I saw the pics in the other thread. Good job there! As far as the bounty hunter goes, my understanding is that the best place to look for information is http://www.phoenixsquadron.com/ and http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/ . Hope that helps you in your quest!

The only person I know of that has done that version of Fett. Is a guy named Torso_boy.

I would look for him on the dented helmet forums. If anyone else has contact information for torso_boy please let me know.

'Sup little bro? The funny thing is, he doesn't have a 'fro, his air is normal lol. Anyway, if you come down to Springfield one weekend, I can help you with the painting and I'm sure Brandon and I can think up a way to make the cowprod.

Other than that, I have pic and everything, even templates for the armor, which you know already, and the cape, etc. You can also try on my myster helmet, because I'm a little afraid that it might be too big for you and you might need a DP or Rubies.

I'd be glad to help with the Force pike for animated Fett. Nice to meet you, Chris!

Yeah, I'll have to find a free weekend to come down for we can have a semi-armor party in Springfield, but making a force pike instead.

Fulton, where is that? You may be the closest person to me. I don't have a uniform but it still would be good to know in the future.

Fulton is about 20-30 min. from Columbia, and 20-30 min. from Jeff. City. William Woods University and Westminster are here.
