I thought I would share some pictures of my latest creation.
I was asked to help with our vacation bible school this summer by creating a character that we could use to help illustrate the Armor of God. The problem I had first was that I basically had to create a costume that started out as a complete costume but that I could then add the armor of God pieces too. That meant that I would have to add a helmet, sword, chest plate, shield, and boots to transform the first costume into the second costume. And nothing says "armor of God" more than a giant Japanese robot. That's what I modeled it after. Some of the old TV shows from the 70's gave me all kinds of ideas. We also built a city out of cereal boxes for our giant robot that saves the day to walk through.
I named it Adamatron after the poor victim, I mean volunteer that is going to wear it for the week of vacation bible school.
Here are some pics we took while we were filming a video that will be used along with the costume.
The first picture has the normal boots and these are the rocket boots.
My favorite part is the color changing and blinking LED's that I added to the chest thanks to Stark Industries.

Curt,
This is awesome! I love the use of the everyday items in the build. The boots caught my attention off the bat. I love the bulky jet propelled look to them. Nice job!!!
