Star Wars Celebration IV - Los Angeles

Members of the 70th Explorers Garrison made the journey to Los Angeles, CA for a five day celebration of the Star Wars saga May 23-May 27, 2007. Stars from the films were on hand for autographs, there were exhibits and seminars to attend as well as an opportunity to shop for just the perfect Star Wars collectible. On Saturday, members of the 70th participated on a team and competed in the Trooper Olympics. The events ranged from shooting targets with nerf guns, to bouncing snowballs into the Wampa's cave, flying a Frisbee into a docking bay, tossing ewoks into a biker scout helmet and then finally, a segway drive through an obstacle course resembling Endor. The team finished fourth out of seven and everyone had a great time!
