Shoes That Fit Movie Fundraiser

On November 4, 2007, the 70th Explorers and the Southern Illinois Jedi Order came together to help out Shoes That Fit for 2 screenings of "The Empire Strikes Back" at the Liberty Theater in Murphysboro, IL.
The troops spent before and after the movie posing for pictures and signing autographs. Kathy Guetersloh of On Media reports that the 1pm show had 266 attendees and the 5 pm show had 152 attendees. The total dollars raised was $1865.00. We look forward to doing this again next year when the movie will be "Return of the Jedi".
