Lucasfilm / Warner Bros. Clone Wars Movie Promotion

The 70th Explorers Garrison teams up with Lucasfilm and Warner Bros. to promote the highly anticipated Clone Wars Movie release scheduled to appear in a theater near you on August 15th, 2008. The event was hosted by the CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City on July 27th during a game between the Wizards and the Chicago Fire, major league soccer. Thousands of fans entered the stadium to be met by 5 Star Wars characters to include Darth Vader (Kevin Fox); a Stormtrooper (Terry Handshy); a 501st Legion, Vader's Fist Clone Trooper (Eric Aggson); a 212th Utapau Clone Trooper (Pete Purin) and an ARC Clone Trooper (Ken Beckwith).
The 70th Explorers Garrison members posed for several pictures and gutted the heat of the day as they brought to life the magic of Star Wars for all the fans both young and young at heart. A big thanks goes out to Lucasfilm, Warner Bros., the staff of the CommunityAmerica Ballpark, and the Wizards for hosting such a successful event.
