Squad 66 visits the Boys and Girls Club of Springfield, MO

Squad 66 of the 70th Exporers spent a Saturday with the local Boys and Girls club of Springfield for a "Day of Play". It was a rainy and cold morning, but that did not hamper the sprites of the troops or kids. They arrived and stepped out into the gymnasium where several kids were already enjoying the activities that had been setup. These included inflatable slides, jumping pits, sumo wresting, basketball and golf putting course. Also a very good live band of younger kids where providing music and entertainment. The troops posed for pictures, talked to the kids, and even joined in some of the events. In attendance were; Keith Davis (Darth Vader), Andy McCommrick (TK), Josh Gann (Tech), Norm Hackett (Tech), Andy Love (TK), Amy Love (Jawa), Jeff Woodward (Boba Fett), Matt Peterson (TK), Tim Orr (Spotter). Also the Love children were in costume as Princess Leia and a Mando.
