70th Explorers Garrison: Forums

This year's Kansas City Planet Comicon held March 24-25, 2012 featured over 35 costumed troopers from the 70th Explorers Garrison! Record fan attendance broke all past records on Saturday when the convention hall came to a standstill at times. The 501st Legion booth was constantly visited by many interested potential members, and business cards were distributed to all who would like to contact us in the future. Our new Star Wars magnets table freebies were a bit hit as well. The Star Wars guests at this year's convention included Honorary 501st Legion members: Billy Dee Williams, Jake Lloyd, Felix Silla, Adrienne Wilkinson, Cat Staggs; and Friend of the Legion members: Blair Butler and Darryl Woods. The 501st Legion was well received by convention goers as digital cameras and cell phones were ever present with members posing in front of our new Death Star corridor background. A big thank you goes out to all of the 501st Legion members from the 70th Explorers Garrison who attended this successful annual event. See you again next year!
