Making a Gray Day Green

On a cold and rainy day, members of the 70th Explorers Garrison gave a great showing at the 27th annual St. Patrick's Day parade. The parade featured the 70th Explorers Garrison, the Springfield Fan Force, unicycles, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, clowns, cheerleaders, greyhounds, antique cars and pagans. Parade participants tossed candy, gum and beads to spectators. In the Best Dressed Parade Contest category, the 501 Legion (Star Wars) took third place.
