70th Explorers Garrison: Forums

For those that missed this post on the 501st boards...


So I'm sitting on my couch doing maintenance to my armor today. The TV is on SciFi channel and this movie called The Last Sentinel comes on (with Katie Sackhoff from BSG). Looks cheesy, but since I'm not really watching I leave it on.

The good guy is fighting these black armored drones. Stormtroopers I think to myself. Just a different color, with different helmets and wearing vests instead. Well, upon pausing the TiVo and closer inspection, I noticed just how right I was!

They were wearing crotch, butt, leg, arm, and shoulder Star Wars stormtrooper armor. There was no chest/back armor. They wore what looked like vests instead. No belts that I could see. No knee plates or knee belts. But you could just tell. It was our stuff!

Anyone else see this? Anyone else notice it?

I noticed that as well, And commented to my children that the Drones were using at least partial Stormtrooper Armour for their costumes. That is Kool in any event , I still haven't finished watching it( had to go to to work) MICHAEL

So I was not the only one that noticed that. I thought it looked like that so I Tivo'd the show so I could go back and look later. Now I know. 3

So do I waste my time watching the show?

I was paying more attention to my armor at the time, so I couldn't tell you much about the plot. There were a war. There was a talking gun. There was Katie Sackhoff. You decide.

I agree with you, even though it is a B rated movie - I have to watch this movie and show Robert... LOL...

If it has a talking gun, then it has to be a great movie. lol
