Re: Looking for a TK advisor

It's definitely way past time for another armor party. Depending on the day & time, I'm down for one. Miles, I can bring my TK along for reference, as well as some of my clone stuff that I'd like to work on anyway.

Re: Looking for a TK advisor

Hello Miles, and welcome to the 70th forums! Another TK is always welcome - there can never be too many in the ranks as far as I'm concerned. We definitely appreciate you taking the time to take some photos of yourself in armor. You're not far off from approval from what I can see, just a few things...

Re: Looking for help from my Garrison brothers and sisters?

I believe that only Legion members with a clone designation can see the special forum, just as only those with a TK could see the last emergency election forum.

Re: 327th Build

If I remember correctly, for the general armor I used Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch white primer; then Painter's Touch white semi-gloss; and finally, I sprayed a couple coats of Minwax Polycrylic to help seal the paint job in and give it some weather protection. The 327th stripes I hand-painted using D...

Re: ATA build

EIB additions thankfully don't amount to much in terms of money. But like I said, they aren't difficult to do later if you want to go ahead and finish the suit and have it Legion approved first. That's what I did (#18 out of 262 EIB troopers), and the alterations were easy to do, even for someone wh...

Planet ComiCon moving to Bartle Hall

What are people's opinions on PCC being at Bartle Hall at the beginning of April next year? Will the move affect your plans on going? Personally I'm on the fence. On the one hand, I'm glad for the move because the con has definitely outgrown the Overland Park Trade Center. Just a handful of years ag...

Re: ATA build

Looks good to me - nice work so far! Are you going to go for EIB/Centurion right from the get-go? It's actually easier to do it that way than to work in the modifications later, although they are not at all difficult to add in after the fact, either. Just that if you're interested, you might as well...

Re: 327th Build

After what feels like years of researching, I finally have my OSCS bucket in the mail. I should have it by this weekend to start building it out. I plan on doing the face off mod, and I will make sure I thoroughly document my build process. I will upload pictures as soon as I can. Are there any oth...

Re: Putting together an ANH Vader. Looking for some advice.

According to the CRL for the ANH Vader, a two-piece bodysuit is the preferred type. For hard armor pieces, I would try out the Sith Lords detachment . You do have to sign up to gain access, but it's worth doing for help in getting a Vader up and going. I've found a lot of answers there while putting...

Re: The bucket has arrived!

The suit looks very nice! Now comes the tinkering on it part for the next year plus. ;) I'm still doing little changes here and there to mine. I'd love to see you armor in person and compare notes. And seeing another GF pauldron really tempts me to get back in touch with him about finally getting ar...
