Actually Josh, after drilling the stopping hole for the crack, I mix scrap bits of ABS with ACETONE. You have to stir FOREVER to make your paste, but once it is all melted, it works really good for filling cracks and even drill holes. Once the ACETONE has evaporated, the ABS returns to it's original...

I do not know about KC, but I buy this stuff at Sleeth Hobbies here in Springfield. It's about the cheapest/most readily available source I have found. That said, look for a mom & pop hobby store that specializes in R/C stuff. Primarily airplanes.
