Re: TIE Pilot

The JRS is the 501st detachement. They're good people, the helped my wife w/ hers. There's another site too, Omega Wing , that she used. (there link in them thar text, but I don't think it shows up well). 'Targ' is the one who she worked with the most. We've since met 'Vader Dave' from Iowa too, who...

My wife sewed stirrups onto the bottom of her flight suit for her TIE...

Curt, do your RFT pants have a draw string tie on the bottom cuff? Mine do and if I tie that right it serves about the same purpose as stirrups.

Re: Star Wars - Clone Wars

I think the thing you have to ask when you talk about Clone Wars is this: Did the kids like it? The 7 year old I was sitting next to did. It's a 1.5 hour commercial for a saturday morning kids cartoon primarily, and therefore not subject to comparison to the six main movies. I also judge the EU nove...

Re: I can already start to smell the speeder bike exhaust.

Cool...now if it were only bow and arrow proof! Why would it need to be arrow proof? I don't know that many people running around with bows (but there are 1 or 2). Bullet proof would be much more effective than that. :boba: You see, that one time on Endor a bunch of short furry thin...

Re: Snap System

OK, so would the 'rare earth' magnets hold through armor? Like these:

I want way to hold some things together w/o velcro, that's strong but not permanent, that'd be two finished surfaces when apart.

Re: The Hobbit Movie

I've heard conflicting rumors... one that it will be the story of the book spread across two movies (like they're doing to the 7th Harry Potter book), or that the first movie will be the bulk of the book and the second will be a little more plus other 'bridge' information to the LOTR trilogy (and li...

There are ten episodes left (whenever it comes back), but one or two is likely to be multi-part, so there'll be like 11 or 12 episodes worth of show.
