Re: Star Wars Robot Chicken III Blu-ray

I watched this over the weekend. I was kinda pissed that they spent so much time in the first few areas then just blew through KC in like 10 seconds of screen time. I did see a quick "drive by" of our 70th group though!

Re: TK advice

Troy and I had to take a LOT out of the top of the thighs on my AM armor. I'm about 5'-10" and we still had to take a good 2.5" out of the top. Yea you lose the returns but whats the point if you can't even bend your knees? Besides after trooping in the armor I think returns are overrated....

Re: TK advice

I personally troop with an MRCE and yes, fans will be needed. It gets pretty stuffy in there, not to mention major fogging issues before I got the fans.

Re: TK advice

Be sure to get a Droopy Doo's kit for the Hasbro blaster. I bought one and it works and looks great. I wasn't fortunate enough to get the kit after he added the the additional side rails, so thats one less thing you'll need: http://cgi.ebay.com/STORMTROOPER-E11-HASBRO-BLASTER-CONVERSION-SKIN-KIT-MK2...

Re: TK advice

Terry pretty much hit all the main points. I am one of those with the AM armor. I bought mine back in October as my first set of armor. No matter what set of armor you get you'll most likely have to trim some to better fit you. I'm about 5'10", 175 and had to do considerable trimming to the AM ...

Thanks! I couldn't have done it in such a quick turnaround if it weren't for Troy's help!

Re: TK armor set info needed

I just ordered a lite AM kit and bought No'l's (from FISD.com) MRCE modded helmet. I got him to come down a bit more on the price from what he posted. It looks great even with a few blemishes and now thats one less thing I need to worry about! http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=11937 No...

Re: TK armor set info needed

You know thats a really good idea. I should go buy a set of Dr. Scholls (however you spell it) and see how they fit then. When I put on two pairs of socks they were actually manageable, I was just thinking that my feet might REALLY sweat in the summer. Another armor question - How many of you have m...

Re: TK armor set info needed

Dang it! I just got my boots today from TKBoots and while they look amazing, I got them too big. I wear size 12 New Balance and it looks like these boots run a bit on the large side, I was afraid of this. Hopefully I can get a size 11 sent to me so I can check them out side by side, I even offered t...

Re: TK armor set info needed

I have been POURING over info on armor this weekend. I've come down to AM and AP as my two choices now. While AM is cheaper I think AP will fit me a lot better and I'm really liking their helm (minus the fact I need to get better mic pieces). I've been told they have sets ready to ship next week if ...
