Re: I saw what you did there other Chris.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to read or post... This is very awkward.

I guess I'll set it back to something more reasonable until the morning.

Daylight Savings Time on the forums

Just thought I'd let everyone know, you can go to https://70thexplorers.com/board/ucp.php?i=165 and enable Daylight Savings Time (and verify your time zone). That way the timestamps on the forums will show the proper time. And in case you missed it, this was the weekend to move your clocks ahead one...

Nicholas Letcher Elected Firehawk Squad Leader

In a VERY close race, Nicholas Letcher was elected as the new Squad Leader of Firehawk Squad. He barely edged out the current SL, Andy Shimamoto, 8 to 7. Firehawk Squad serves the 70th Explorers and 501st Legion in the Kansas City metro area. Congratulations to Nick, and many thanks to Andy for guid...

Yeah, that was just one of the things I liked about the Star Wars novels. They co-existed with each other a lot better than the Trek novels ever did.

Re: Disney to buy Lucasfilm - Episode 7 due in 2015

I'm really interested in what they're planning for Ep 7. Is it going to be Lucas's original idea set 20-30 years after or something closer to the books. They could do Thrawn or the Yuuzhan Vong series! Granted, 20+ books in Yuuzhan Vong so they'd have to REALLY consolidate that. I think the entire ...

Re: Halloween parade in STL 10/27/12

I've been to this before. This night time party is pretty fun. It's usually crowded too. FYI, it's change outside by your car though (unless you're lucky enough to have a costume you can drive in).

Re: Planet ComiCon moving to Bartle Hall

Last convention was over-crowded for sure. But a lot a things contributed to that. There were a lot a big name guests and the weather was awesome. Can't control the weather, but if they continue booking lots of popular guests, a move would be good.
