Order 66 : A Republic Commando Novel
Not sure how many of you read the books, but "Order 66" by Karen Traviss is FANTASTIC! I read this book in a matter of two days! It's not that it's a short story, it's actually twice the size of Clone Wars by the same author, but I couldn't put it down. The Book abviously takes place betwe...

Re: Progress on my TK
Thanks Curt! Now if we could get some of your POSITIVE attitude to rub off on some of the guys in the FISD forum. They have been nice to me, but as I read through the forums, they can be pretty negative to some of the new people :twitch: Even though I am not a 501st Member yet since my armor is stil...

Progress on my TK
Well I was going to add pics, but the files are to big, and I dont have any type of photo program to crop them etc. So I'll just babble :twitch: I joined the FISD and really didnt post anything till recently, but I can say that my choice for FX armor to my size was most likely a good choice ( 6'3&qu...

Re: 501st on South Park??
I know that South Park and Family Guy tend to be VERY UN-PC.......................BUT (no pun intended)
this is just wrong! LOL
This had to have been one of the actors that felt he wasn't paid enough idea

Re: Pre Fab Bucket Mods
Thanks guys, I hadn't even thought of painting the inside of the bucket, but now it's on the list of to do's!
And great tip for the velcro of the lenses! I have industrial velcro on my list of things to purchase, since I knew I would need it for the armor.
Keep the tips coming if you have any!

Pre Fab Bucket Mods
I have spent time reading thru the tips amd suggestions..........I like to try and be as prepared as possible. I did note that the biggest mod was to add the flat lenses vs the bubble that come with the kits, so I purchased those today, so that I have them while the bucket is still in 2 basic pieces...

Excellent! I am sure even after I put this thing together, I will be modifying several things once I get to troop with the group a couple times.

E-11 Blasters
As I wait very impatiently for my armor kit to arrive in the mail, I went digging through boxes. I found my original 70's Stormtrooper blaster (unfortunately all my ohter original SW is gone). Anyway, I know they have resin kits out there, but was wondering how many of you if any, are using the orig...
