Well they claim that someone can scan an existing set of armor say TM and reproduce it. Of course they can take scans from still shots and scale them to size and someone will still call it recasting. Someone on the FISD forum claimed 3d printing is just like recasting....although I don't agree with that myself.

The knee battery packs may be an issue, ATA has helmets on hand to replace the FX bucket. I think if you fix those two issues it shouldn't be a problem.

FX recast kit? From what another guy told me is that changing the ammo belt(cut too short on the ends) and the helmet and it will pass. Some have gone on to get EIB with an FX recast don't know which ones to link too but they happened within the last two years as I was told.

If the CRL say vinyl is ok then I don't see the issue. It's the EIB(level 2)and Centurion(level 3) that demand all cloth for the belt.
So for level one vinyl is good. Hell for level one you can have a belt that is made of leather as it reads.
