I have been using the Radio Shack amp system and it works OK. I need to add fans and I have heard that the Skullworx does rock. May move to that since it has fans built in.

You could trim them shorter. Trim off the bottom by your boots. Then the calf parts will drop down and the top will still look right. Just do it a little at a time untill you get the right feel. Congrats on finishing. How much time did you spend on the whole project? When I did my TK armor, it took me 9 months because I was afraid to make a cut. Half the time I spent getting up the courage to do something. I was so afraid I was going to screw something up.
