 Post subject: Polishing Armor

So, I'm finishing up my TIE helmet, but managed to spill CA glue on the front of the face. I know that there's a CA stain on one of the movie-used props, but I'd rather have it shine.

I've already sanded off the glue with very fine sandpaper, and used a scratch remover, so it's pretty smooth, just dull dark grey rather than shiny black.

What's everyone doing for this sort of thing? Painting the parts?
