The Clonetrooper's Detachment has everything clone related. That would be a good place to start for information and ideas. Here's the link:

forum.clonetroopers.net

Also, what kind of price range are you looking at? The cheapest set of armor can cost anywhere from approximately $350 on up. That doesn't include the helmet, boots, undersuit, gloves, paint, glue, etc, etc.....

It's a good rule of thumb that when assembling your first armored costume to look at the range of $1,000 to complete the entire costume. That also depends on which character as well. Clones are usually included in that rule of thumb, however.

With that said, it doesn't mean that it can't be done cheaper or more expensive...just a rule of thumb.

I can honestly say my suit as it sits cost $600, and only needs a new helmet (~150). It can be done, but patience is key. What area are you in?

Believe it or not when you start reading over at Clonetrooper.net there different kinds of ARC's So read up on htem and decide which style you want to go for. My armor is molded like the original Hasbro figure so I based everything bt the color on that.(including the silver forearm which was a paint error by hasbro) I based the color on 70th orange just thought it would look cool with outr 79to patch and stickers in orange.

The ARC trooper from the Clone Wars Cartoon is not an accepted 501st character. If you are wanting to build this and thinking of joining the 501st with it, you must do the comic version. If you need help, it can be found on the clonetrooper forum, or I can assist if you.

Here is one for sell. It looks like a good suit, but done after the cartoon version and not 501st approved. You would still need a helmet and have to find the right red to match it.

Please give me a call arc trooper if theere are any questions.

I actually didn;t know that animated ARC's weren't allowed. I've seen some that are cartoony looking I can see why they aren't but the more realistic look of tha animated ARC seems reasonable. Sorry dude!
