I will reserve this first post for important information for clone information. I will also try and keep this thread as clean as possible from comments and questions. If you have comments and questions, please pm me.

First up (these will go in order):

Costume: EPII Clone Trooper (AOTC) Soldier


Prefix: TC

Required

ALL of the following costume elements are required in order to be eligible for 501st Legion membership for this costume.

Black Undersuit

One or two piece black undersuit. Commonly used components include sports compression wear, warm-up suits, dance unitards, or diveskins. Undersuit must be smooth in appearance or with vertical ribbing with no labels or logos visible once the armor is on.

Black Gloves

Black over the wrist gloves made of leather, nylon, or other low pile fabrics. Gloves must not show any labels or logos once the armor is on and cover any exposed skin.

Neck Seal

Neck seal to be black in color with vertical ribbing or being smooth in appearance. No logos or labels are to be visible. If the seal is not incorporated as part of the undersuit, a balaclava or other similar covering is acceptable.

Helmet

Episode 2 style Clone Helmet - Fanmade bucket. Some "name brand" helmets may be unacceptable.
Visor - Mirrored/Chrome or Black Visor
Helmet Fin on dome
Rear fin needs a brake light cover installed.
6 Primer Grey Vents on each side of helmet cheeks
Helmet frown is charcoal grey in color. Wire or plastic mesh is utilized inside the helmet to cover the open pieces of the frown.
Primer grey stripe around back of dome.
Ear holes may be painted light grey or remain white.

Armor

(1) Chest
Two detail slots on right breast.
Chest and back plate should match together at the sides with no gap, just a seam line.

(1) Back
Chest and back plate should match together at the sides with no gap, just a seam line.

(2) Shoulders

(2) Shoulder Straps
Correct shape with ridges.

(2) Upper Arms
Front/back pieces are Seamless.

(2) Forearms
Front/back pieces are Seamless.

(2) Elbows
Two detail slots on the outside area of both elbow pieces.

(2) Elbow Straps

(2) Handplates

(1) AB plate
Four 1/4" diameter holes per side on indents of ab plate, eight holes total.

(1) Kidney/Lower Back Piece

(1) Butt Plate

(1) Cod piece

(2) Upper thighs
Front/back pieces are Seamless.

(2) Knees
Detail Clip with slots on each side of both knees.

(2) Knee Straps
Correct shape with center portion of both knee straps raised and primer grey.

(2) Lower legs
Front/back.

(1) Compad on right forearm

Note:
- All armor should be matte white or satin white (NO GLOSS).
- Armor does not have to be weathered. If weathering is preferred, black wash is an example of an acceptable weathering technique.
- Exposed/visible rivets are not acceptable.

Belt

Ammo Belt with boxes and detonator - Detonator is centered on the back of belt. 8 boxes total, 4 on each side of abdomen and on the belt.

Boots

White, ankle high or tall enough to cover the ankle and eliminate any black undersuit visible at the ankle area in armor. Boots must be lace-less and have flat soles. The boots have armor detail to include a natural seam at the toe and a strap that goes over the top of the foot with two protruding disks at each side of the strap. There should be no markings or labels from the shoe makers.


Recommended

These costume elements are in addition to the required list of costume parts and are optional. This list provides costuming options that increase the level of accuracy of the costume and give a costumer ideas to consider for improvement.


Seamless lower legs with spoon insert or ankle trap. Fabric trap doors are not acceptable.
Correct verticle ribbed undersuit.
Correct vertical ribbed neck seal.
Limit or eliminate the use of metallic silver weathering.
Button detail on the side of the butt and cod armor where these pieces attach to each other.
Rear fin light to be lit. Light is steady, does not blink, and is composed of 3 LEDs.
Back plate detail kit.

Optional

Elements listed as acceptable here may not be traditionally associated with a costume, but are not so unreasonable as to detract from it. Please keep in mind that the following items may not be allowed at certain canon/high profile appearances.

Helmet

Clone Wars style Clone Helmet (Rubies not acceptable)
Visor opening should be approx. 1” wider than the AotC style.
Visor – black, extending down through the frown area of the helmet
Helmet Fin on dome with NO “brake light”
4 black vents on each side of helmet cheeks
Helmet frown is cut out completely, with the visor extending completely into the gap.
Helmet should not have a raised brow. Note that TCW grunts have no black brow trim line.
Stripe around back of dome and rear V detail are painted light grey. The center rectangle and circle details are white.
Ears have raised discs, not indentations. The discs should be white.


Armor

(1) Chest
No detail slots on right breast.
Chest and back plate should match together at the sides with no gap, just a seam line.

(1) Back
Should have TK style back detail
Chest and back plate should match together at the sides with no gap, just a seam line.

(2) Shoulders

(2) Shoulder Straps
Straps should look round on the end and act more like a cap than a connecting strap

(2) Upper Arms
Front/back pieces are Seamless.
Rear of the triceps area should be cut out to match with elbow detail.


(2) Forearms
Front/back pieces are Seamless.
Elbows are attached to the forearm

(1) AB plate

(1) Kidney/Lower Back Piece

(2) Upper thighs
Front/back pieces are Seamless.

Voice Amplifier Systems

Helmet Fans

Arena Jetpack -The colors for the arena jetpack are: silver, dark blue and light blue. The jetpack has the following main components: The main body which includes one center tank and two fuel tanks, one center fine-bore missile, two side thrusters / nozzles and should have a smaller cone shaped warhead missile. The thrusters are located under the fuel tanks.

Two(2) lights located on both sides of the helmet. Lights are small and positioned either on the front of the ear pieces or on the raised circular ear detail.
