Hey everyone It's your friendly neighborhood GML.

I have a pending TK in the Kansas City area his armor looked pretty good, he has some minor changes for approval

With that said he has a lot of work to make it a good solid trooping armor, that won't shift and be comfortable. I'm not sure when our next armor party is but if there's any troopers in the area that would like to meet up with him and help him out that would be awesome .

Go ahead and send him my direction either on here or on facebook. Also if he were able to post on here his photos and such so we could see what kind of issues he is having that would probably help.

That could be helpful. Everyone has a slightly different set up that suits them best.

I'll PM you his email.

I'll help however I can.

I probably still have the abdomen button paint in my stuff. I need to sew together a new belt so I'll be going through that soon myself. I'll try to post up my progress on here. I thought plastic belts were acceptable. Have they tightened up the requirements?

He's going for ANH Hero the CRL states. "Belt proper is made of canvas, canvas covered material, leather, or vinyl, 3” (75mm) to 3.5”(90mm) wide. The color is be white to off-white. "

I just looked over the ANH stunt and it reads the same thing.

The ammo boxes on the belt are to be plastic.

If the CRL say vinyl is ok then I don't see the issue. It's the EIB(level 2)and Centurion(level 3) that demand all cloth for the belt.

So for level one vinyl is good. Hell for level one you can have a belt that is made of leather as it reads.

ABS and vinyl aren't the same.
I guess I should have pointed out his belt was ABS plastic which comes standard with most kits.

With that said I honestly like the looks of the ABS plastic belt, and have no problem with it .

FX recast kit? From what another guy told me is that changing the ammo belt(cut too short on the ends) and the helmet and it will pass. Some have gone on to get EIB with an FX recast don't know which ones to link too but they happened within the last two years as I was told.

If Miles wants to keep it the ABS I have no problems with it. I will take it for peer Judging or at the very least check with the Detachment leader of FISD on a ruling which may slow the process down. Either case I don't mind doing .

After looking at the photos I took I strongly suggest getting a smaller bucket. the FX bucket looks like a bobble head on Miles.

I blacked out the Under armor Logo because we went over that when I reviewed the CRL with him .

The knee battery packs may be an issue, ATA has helmets on hand to replace the FX bucket. I think if you fix those two issues it shouldn't be a problem.
