As many of you know I have been talking about starting my Garindan costume for a while now. Well I finally did make some progress on it.

Ok made some progress on Garindan mask Jeanette helped me wrap it. Half an hour later and its mostly dry.

Well progress has been slow but its still progress. Still have to make the hood and communicator.

So when I get my Maul done, i want to come to your house and use your camera. That will save me about $300 bucks on contacts!!!!!

I had to take a double take there. I was like dang man, if that's what your eyes look liked now, i am never coming over again!!!!!!! All I could think of was "The Omen."

Scared the crap out of me.

I have di-chromatic eyes (they change colors) and they always look red in pictures...must be the demon within.

Ok finally got the money for the cloak/hood. Jeanette put about 80% of it together tonight. Hope to have some pics of the completed costume up soon.

OK Hood/Cloak just needs to be hemmed and the clasp attached (thanks Jeanette). I made me a stocking cap for my head. I also ordered a replica comlink. The comlink is from a guy in the UK but I got the unpainted resin version for $16USD with shipping we will see how that goes.

I hope to have some pictures up soon. (Probably tonight)

I just got my comlink today. It took 6 days to get it from the UK. I am very pleased with the resin replica. I paid $16 USD for it with shipping. I will have pictures up later today. It just needs a paint job and its good to go.

OK after studying the source materials for a bit I decided to repaint the snoot. I also added new gloves (thanks for the link Sarah) and the comlink.
