Hi. Here is my one of my past projects and I am trying to get it worthy of the 501st. My hubby is going to wear this. It's on a dummy right now.

I know it need dirtying up some more and the bandolier needs beaten up. And the eyes need the screens.... just help me make it look good and dirty, worthy of Tatooine.

I'm no expert on Tuskens but it looks good to me.

BTW the first time I read your post I thought you called your husband a dummy :P As in My hubby is going to wear this it's on THE dummy right now. I was like damn sounds like my wife!

That's what I get for putting "dummy" in the same sentence. Thanks for the compliment.

I always enjoy these posts to see what everyone is working on and the various techniques utilized. The tusken is coming along nicely. Have you worked on the gaffi yet?

The gaffi is a work in progress. It was completed at one point; I had to take off the point at the end for safety reasons at a con.

Its rough, missing its fins at the end. Just needs finished and weathered.

I need some better shots of the head, and hands, but Its looking good to me ... have you posted over at the kraytclan yet?

As for the robes a lil' more dirt up high would look great... don't over kill it tho ... if you want help with that I'll be happy to help you out when your in town for Planet comicon .

Also get your brother in law to call me about his Tusken ...

I would say you need a lil' bit more tattering on what looks like a sleeve... to help give it the rugged look the Tusken is known for ... but It looks great

Very nice. I especially like the cut of the robes.

Head looks awesome. Did you hem the sleeves of the robe? Just curious. I would say it needs a little more dirt. need to look at the hands and feet a little better.

Make sure to wear it for comic con please ;)
