First TK in Iraq

Post by TK 1115 »

I am almost complete with assembling my Trooper armour. Yes it would of been much better to be a sandtrooper since I am in the Desert, but I have no means of doing the custom paint job here. I suppose I could always roll around in the dirt. LOL.

The Helmet proved to be more difficult then I remember them being in the past, this being the 3rd set of armour I have assembled in my Trooping history. My first set I had to sell off, and I assembled a set for a friend once.

I will be posting photos of my trooping in Safer areas of Iraq as soon as I can. I wonder what the Iraqi's will make of it.

Now all I need is to get one of those 70th stickers for it. :D Any suggestions?

I'm sending you and Email. Sadly with Terroists everywhere I can't post my Addy here.

You know, you keep dropping bombs on them and they keep coming. Sigh.

Here is the link for the first photo of me.

My entire Company thought it was great. I was checking ID's at one of our interior gates. My Body armour (Real) does fit under the Trooper gear, I just have to take all my tactical gear off it first.

I didn't have the Drop Boxes on in this photo, and you can also see that the thighs need trimmed down, got one done now, just gotta get the other one. Once fixed I won't have funny looking knees. LOL. My Flag is on by velcro, because I didn't want the Iraqi Guards to get confused. They had no clue as to what to make of me.

Make sure to take it down to the court house and get it registered. That thing is like a gold mine for future jobs and such. Have you gone to the VA yet??

ensure that you register with the VA no matter what!! I just completed my PDHRA which was supposed to be done 3-6 months after I came back, the program here didn't get to us for over 2 years, now the 24 month window is gone... I may have to pay for a lot of treatments that I might not have had I registered when we got back.

If you need anything, just let me know... I am changing MOS's from a Medic to a Plumber so I can get promoted... but now I'll actually be qualified to take care of s***

I know this link is kind of old but, thanks for the effort! What the unit needs to do is go to one of these anti-war conventions and "arrest" one of the leaders by the orders of the emperor.
