Info wanted.

Post by Jeff »

I am new to the costume game and while at this point I am not tring for 501st status I would like to get a few costume parts.
I am hunting for a TK belt.
Just the molded stuff. I will put it on a belt but I need to know how to and what I need for a belt to put it on.
Thanks Jeff

That rebel scum.
Oh no (:
I am going to build a set of armor but I am on an extreme budget (house, cars and kids) so I will have to do it a piece at a time.
Right now I have a efx stunt helmet so I wanted to do the belt next.
Also what mods have to done to the efx bucket to make it 501st level?

I'm not really sure which one is the eFX I would say off the top of my head it needs a few tweaks in colour and then Its acceptable but highly discourage. I'm sure one of my first imperial stormtrooper detachment will be quick to correct me on this one .

While hunting down armor one part at a time sounds like a great Idea. Most armor maker won't sale one part at a time unless you're already approved with the armor type for replacement and repair.

I would advise hunting down the boots, neck seal, under suit and gun holster first. then save up for a suit of armor as a whole buy. You might get lucky and find a Armor maker who's selling parts but from my experience they are rare.

Based on looking at the ears on the eFX and what I can see in just that picture it doesn't look like it would be an approvable helmet, but I wouldn't know for sure without seeing several pictures from different angles.

Depending on your budget I think about cheapest a TK can be completed for is around 800-900. If you have any questions about what all that would entail feel free to shoot me a message.

Best of luck with whatever costume you decide to do and don't hesitate to ask any questions! I don't know about the cost of tie pilot armor pieces, but since you already have a helmet for that, that may be an option to consider as well? I don't know anything about tie helmets and what all is allowed for those. I'm just the resident stormtrooper guy, haha.

Thanks for the info.
I will most likly start with an imperial tech uniform and go from there.
I have heard the efx bucket can be made 501st worthy but I would like to find a nice more like to props but I really can't afford one.
Does anyone have a used one they would sell?
