Well we made a lot of progress last night.

My mask is basically done. Dave made a lot of progress on his and is basically ready to wrap.

Yeah, the next step for me is to wrap the head and then that part is done. It's drying over at Tony's right now, so maybe he can get some close up shots of the helmet as it stands now before the head wraps

Another Friday and more progress. Dave began wrapping his helmet. I completed my gaffi stick and we began work on the robes.

Your Gaffi Stick turned out GREAT! I really need to get back in the shop and get some projects under way. Work has me all tied up for the next couple of weeks. blah....

Well after some issues with the material over the weekend. My wonderful wife Jeanette helped me shop for some new material and sewed me up some robes. They need weathering but they are basically done.

I am hoping to purchase my bandoliers materials on the 15th and have the costume complete for review on the 16th at the armor party. We will just have to see.

Are you guys going to stuff the head or possibly a pouch with speakers? That would be sweet to get that yelling sound they make....

That's what I wanted to do and would do it if I were to make a Tusken, which would actually be very cool. But, unfortunately...I don't think that will be a reality any time too soon.

it's a possiblity, but right now we just want to get them done, later we can work on cybering them up with speakers and such.
