Belt, gloves, and hat arrived! All look very nice.

Now, if only I knew how to put the belt on correctly...

Awesome! Here is a thread about the belt: https://www.jrs501st.com/forums/viewtop ... =8&t=13669

Even though it says for basic doesn't matter if snap on belt is worn to left or right of wearer, I'd go left side (allows higher level approval). Which means buckle will flip up to the left and down to the right. That link above has an overhead pic while wearing too. If it is a Wampawear belt that is. You'll probably need to trim the belt down a little bit as well, if it's Wampawear as well.

Thanks for the link. It's a Wampa Wear belt; I plan on trimming and/or pinning the belt when the flightsuit is in my hands. When I put the WW belt over a regular outfit, it wrapped around me almost twice. Regular belt habits made me automatically go for the left than the right.

Yep I'm the same with my belt, they were very generous in providing extra length, that's for sure!

Wampa wear is good stuff are you planning on going full tie pilot someday ? Also you can get approved as bridge crew and with a gunner helmet you could go gunner most versatile costume to start with

I would like to be a full TIE Pilot one day.

Looking at the Bridge Crew requirements, I could easily double the Reserve Pilot with the ROTJ Bridge Crew CRL (has gauntlets and compad, but no code cylinders or headset). Eventually, I could add belt boxes...After I trim the belt and get those.

Personally, I don't care for the Gunner Crew helmet.

Finally lucked out and was able to order a flight suit from WampaWear! I'll need it hemmed at the very least. Curse my short legs!

Good news! The Wampa Wear XXS suit came in!

Bad news! It's super baggy in everywhere but the waist. The cuffs go over my hands, the chest is incredibly billowy, and the shoulders are nowhere near my body's shoulders. I know it's not supposed to be 'form fitting' but this is overboard.

I'm linking out to an Imgur Album so I don't take up a bunch of space with pictures.

Is this salvageable or should I run a lint roller on it and return?

Hmmm, I'd say the lengths for the arms and legs could be tailored a little bit but remember that you'll have gloves with gauntlets that can help hide some of the length to take back and same with the legs with the calf high boots. I honestly don't think the legs or arms look that baggy. The neck is a little wide but I think that a alterations place could bring the shoulders in a bit and perhaps the neck. They may also be able to bring in the back too, but I think it'll depend on the seams.

My suit was custom made from Cosplaysky with all the measurements I provided, so I didn't specifically have to alter it after the fact. That is where I'm a little new with the alteration process.

Here is my suit so you can see the spots where it is baggier and not:

I have decided to return the Wampa Wear suit and order a custom "501st" cosplaysky suit. I'm bummed but there was no real way to salvage the Wampa Wear one without a lot of time and effort on someone's part.

Ahhh damn :(

That is good though that you'll soon have one that fits perfectly! I love my Cosplaysky one.

Fingers crossed! I put in the compad window and pocket measurements, so that may help.

My flight suit came in from CosplaySky a few weeks ago. I tried it on but haven't had the time to take pictures yet! It fit. :)

Things that need altering on it:
- Standard collar needs to be made into a Mandarin point in the back.
- Commpad pocket needs to be slightly larger to accommodate the rest of the commpad size
- Trim the loose threads.

When I get a chance, I'll post pictures and all that in case there are things I didn't think of.

Almost there! After the flight suit and belt are looking good, I'll be able to submit for approval.
