I posed this question over at CT.N as well. So far nobody has had any problems with spent bullet casings on their costumes from police, etc. I'm still open to thoughts and or suggestions:

As long as they are part of belts I dont see any issue with them especially if they are spent casings.

You could always use painted Chap Stick cases. No worries at that point.

That's a fantastic idea. I'm going to make two sets of these bullet thingys. One set that actually looks like bullets and the next set out of something else....possibly the chap stick idea so I don't get into trouble for them. Nice idea, Curt.

maybe some sort of Pen cap like the Jedi use for "food capsules" on their belts. Theres lots of shapes to choose from at the office supply store.

I still have a lot of work to do before completion. I'm hoping to have it ready for Legion ID pics by mid-May. This will be the first AT-RT in the Legion databank.

New AT-RT Bucket sculpt is in progress. I did some test sculpting this weekend and have now started on my good sculpt. I will be posting pics of my progress in a new thread.

From a law enforcement perspective, I dont see why spent shell casings would be a problem. Im not aware of any state or local laws that would prevent it.

get dummy cartridges from sportsmansguide.com they are usually drilled out just in case someone questions it. the last i heard it is still legal to carry a weapon in the back window of your truck and i was also told that as long as it isn't conceled it is ok to carry a firearm and permitted, unless posted not to. that is untill radicals take office.
