Pepakura Resource File

Hey gang, I'm collecting information on Pepakura files. Please post links to good free pepakura Star Wars files if you find them. Also, do we have any pepakura gurus able to manipulate and/or create cad files and such?

I'm fairly interested in that too. Are you planning on posting links to them or in some way making it easy for us all to get them?

I've only stopped by The Dented Helmet a few times, but I've seen some of them floating around there. I didn't dig into it too deeply, the last time I was there it looked like people were selling models, but I found some free ones just now: http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/forums/s ... ura-bucket

I've downloaded a few Halo related ones from the 405th. It's been a long time since I was up to date there, but I seem to remenber some star wars models floating around there too.

If you have the full version of pepakura you can get a bunch of Star wars models for free on http://www.scifi3d.com/list.asp?intGenr ... ntCatID=13. There are ways of reducing the polygon counts so they print off reasonably. Once you are in the right size and shape range you can coat the inside with resin and hand scupt from there.

I've got a lovely E-11 model that I can't remember where I got it from.

Thanks, Culvan.

Yes, I will try and post the items I find here as well. I recently downloaded the pep software and am going to see if I can work with some of the files I've been able to find (Iron Man items) to get a feel for how to use it. Ultimately there are a few Star Wars files I want to capture as well.

Anybody else want to chime in here....you know you want to. :D

I've got the Pepakura Designer 3 application. Personally, I'm off to a rough start on this software.
I saw a forum on this over at CT.net. It's been a while, but a member had created a clone helmet. I'll see if I can find that link again.

That would be great! Any SW items we can find would be useful.

I know I am dragging this up from the grave of no posts, but any news on this? I just started looking at pepakura this week and been kicking ideas around in my head. Found a few files for helmets that i am thinking of printing out and seeing where it goes from there.

the pepakura only lends itself to certain shapes. clones and RC's look horrible in pep, due to thier smooth surfaces those suits have. works well for halo, iron man, boba fett stuff, but the clone peps are horrible.....

if you want some bad a$$ iron man pep files register here
http://siwdat.com/forum/index.php
there is a ton of info there, and it is the place for iron man stuff! (chris, you need to go over there and look around) movie stills, comic suit break downs, CRL's how to's, the list goes on!

then go here!
dancing fool's MKII/III files (the best files out there)
http://siwdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=187&t=153

then there is robo's MKIV/VI files (awsome accurate)
http://siwdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=187&t=270

if it is not ok to post theses here, lmk chris!
