AND I'm dressing like a woman. Don't let that freak you out either. :lol: :lol: :lol: J/K

I'm sad because I won't have the Captain ready by then.

Awwww. ;_;

Well if nothing else, you can get a nice insight on the Otaku culture. Maybe you'll pick up a new hobby in anime.

Or you can just pick on me all day. I'm sure that's worth the price of admission.

I'm geared to go. I have it written on my calendar. I'll definitely take you guys up on the offer of a ride...sleep does sound good that early in the morning. :lol: If only this was two more weeks away, I could have had at least a presentable Captain.

Weeelll if it comforts you any, I have lost the only anime costume I have, and if I can't find it, I'm going to have to dress Aristo for the day. It's still kind of costumey (Aristocrat is a fashion scene in Japan, similar to the Western World's Victorian Goth) but not the outfit I would have l liked to have worn.

My shit came in Chris, so I thought i'd take a picture to show you what we have so far --

Bad pics because Dave wasn't home, but whatcha gonna do.

Anyways, I'm basically 'good to go' if I don't get anymore props, but I still would like to get a few. Namely, I want an eyepatch with a heart on it, and at least one prop pistol. Ideally, I would like:

More pirate-y boots
1 pistola, and a whip
Pirate patch
maybe a little bag to put stuff in

I think I have a couple of those items you can use, CJ. I need to look in my stash and remember where in the world I put some of those items.

okey dokey.

We got a bit O time yet I think. I don't get paid again till around the 5th of May, so if you find em before then lemme know, but no biggie if you don't. ^_^ It's not a lot of money for those items.

Boots have been ordered from caboots. Hopefully they'll come through for me before the 25th!!! YIKES!!! They say they can, but I hesitate to believe them. They're kind of scary to deal with when you're in a crunch!!! 0_o

This weekend I will start the weathering and distressing and attaching all the needed beads to the hair and attaching all the buttons to my coat and vest.

Next week I hope to finish up the little odds and ends and I should be set to go. YAY!!!!!
