Today, October 2, 2008, is the 3rd anniversary of the 70th Explorers becoming a garrison of the 501st Legion. We have come a long way in our 3 years. We have more than doubled our membership from when we first became a squad. We have over 80 members and 2 official squads of our own, Gateway Squad and Squad 66. We have totally dominated conventions, worked with numerous celebrities, and helped earn thousands of dollars in contributions to different charities in and around our states of Kansas and Missouri. And we don't show any signs of slowing down either.
All of our success as a garrison falls right back on our garrison members. Without every one of you and your support for the garrison, we wouldn't be where we are today.
