A Big Thank You from Exploration Place

Post by TK Fro »

Charlie,

Having the 501st and Rebel Legions serve as the Riverfest parade entry for Exploration Place to promote the Star Wars:® Where Science meets Imagination exhibit was TREMENDOUS! We were delighted to have more than 30 members troop the parade last Friday evening. The crowd’s response was great and the promotion you all gave the Star Wars exhibit was priceless. Thank you!

Several of the 501st and Rebel Legion members were able to troop at Exploration Place and the Star Wars exhibit on Friday and Saturday. A few others came the weekend of the exhibit opening. We just LOVE having you here and so do the visitors. Watching their faces light up when they see a Star Wars character is so gratifying. They can’t find their cameras fast enough to catch the moment. The presence of the 501st and Rebel Legion adds an extra dimension to the exhibit which we can’t replicate. While the exhibit has been open only a few weeks, we find the visitors are always looking for the Star Wars characters.

As you know the Star Wars exhibit continues through September 3. I, along with all the staff, am looking forward to many more appearances by the 501st and Rebel Legion throughout the summer. We realize several of the members are traveling significant distances and we especially appreciate their effort to be here as part of the exhibit.

Thank you, and we are so looking forward to working with the 501st and Rebel Legion throughout the summer making this blockbuster exhibit even more spectacular with your help and generosity.
