Tin Man on SciFi

Anyone else watching this mini series? It's a very dark and interesting take on the Wizard of Oz.

Yeah, I'm watching it. I'll have to TiVo it tonight and tomorrow but it's interesting enough to hold my attention.

The previews looked fun.

i have been watching it, i remembered hearing that there was a whole series of books on OZ, this series is just someone else's. so far the acting hasn't been bad either, it seems that scifi hypes these shows and the acting or special effects are really bad. so far both are good.

My friend Nicci just said, "...and I think george lucas wrote the dialogue."

So apparently she is unimpressed. But then she's still watching it.

I agree that it has been pretty well done overall. I think that the corny dialogue every now and then adds to the humor and irony of this version of the story though. ;)

I like the fact that they used a M2 halftrack in one scene. :D

Why am I not surprised your keen eyes picked that out? :P

By the way, I thought it was a really good mini series. SciFi is going to show all three episodes in a row next Sunday, the 9th, starting at 4 p.m. for anyone interested in catching it who may have missed it this go around. :)

I've Tivo'd the episodes so far, but haven't had a chance to watch any of them as of yet. Probably won't get a chance until after the Toy's for Tots this weekend. From the previews I've seen, it looks like it will be good though.

I am hooked on it! It was an awesome darker version of the original story. I liked complicated character development.
