Faron's Health Update

Post by TK1423 »

Brothers & Sisters in armor

I had an appointment with my Cardiac Transplant Cardiologist last Wednesday.

I spoke with the CHF Nurse for the first time. She lowered my fluid intake, at first I thought she said 32 onces a day. I called her on Friday, she told me I can have up to 64 onces day. She lowered my sodium from 2000 to 1600 a day.

Doc said no alcohol ever, no more smoky places, and no jogging. I can walk but do not over it. If I lift weights, I have to keep low reps when lifting 6 to 10 lbs. I can take benadryl for sleep!

The Awesome news is my next appointment is in a year instead of every six months!

Thank you for all the prayers!
May the Dark Side of the Force be with You!
God bless and love ya!

What is your EF? Do you know what your qrs duration is? Are you a canidate for either bi ventriular ICD or pacermaker?

If you have questions about this, you may give me a call.

Faron, my legion brother, I hope things are well with you. It's hard to get to know people from a distance, but many forums can bring us closer together. I don't know what I'd do if I had to give up exercising. I wish you all the best.
