Yes, the new one is better! Add the shadows in the forground of your feet since the light is coming from behind.

actually tried to add shadows and 3/3 people said it didn't look good

so I will not be adding shadows myself.

To give a proper shadow you must be of healthy (or some say unhealthy) proportion.
