New Trooper in-bound

Post by Dman »

Greetings all, my name's Dennis, and though I have yet to "officially" join the 501st I have ben lurking the message boards for a few weeks now and have decided to take the fateful plunge and will hopefully be starting my first suit of armor next month. What kind of armor do you ask, well my dear friends being a somewhat accomplished costumer (recovering Klingon, and midevil (read boffer warrior) reenactment) , and a bit more adventurous than sane, I will be tackling a TX Shadow Trooper (so anyone in the KC area who has experience please be prepared to have your brains picked...LOL Brains...)

I look forward to trooping with you one and all,
Dennis

Welcome. Ask if ye have any questons. I've built or helped build a Stealth trooper, Several TK's, A Storm Commando, 2 Jawas, an E-Web, multiple E-11's, an Ep III Clone, etc...blah, blah, blah...

Anyway, there is a great deal of knowledge in your area. Topeka is also a hot-bed of costuming mojo. ;)

Good luck!

I just try and help where I am needed. My wife says that I have a problem saying "no." :D

I guess she'd like to see more of me ...or something.

That said, wait till you see the Fertility Idol I am making for Andy's Indy Costume. It's turning out pretty good......

....oops, I think we hijacked a thread.... :(
