I can't wait to see what Cobra Commander looks like. and Destro. I'm on the fence about the movie i.e. Snake eyes looks good, Storm shadow looks crappy, Scarlett good wayans brother very very bad. I think the deciding factor will be how cool the bad guys look. After all we're what make Star Wars awesome...

Hahahaha! Is this supposed to be somewhat for children? I don't know that the kids need to see (or I for that fact), a woman with a skin tight forming suit.

Now those pictures of Scarlett just made my day.

Time for a cold shower.

Let's make a new list now:

Things that I like about Scarlett's outfit:

#1. It's tight
#2. The "thong" look
#3. It's form fitting
#4. It's hot
#5. She's hot

Ohh... I could go on for hours...

Personally, I think "REAL AMERICAN HERO" should be there. and while we're making lists...

Things I already hate or am worried about the Joe Movie..

1. No "REAL AMERICAN HERO" Monicker

2. Stupid black rubber body armor costumes! (Snake Eyes excluded, of course. This is what is keeping Christian Bale from being the best cinematic Batman ever.)

3. Is that Storm Shadow, or a Japanese pimp?

4. People better get shot. The Cartoon was always explosions and the air was humming with constant laser fire, but rarely did anyone ever get hit.

5. Shipwreck. This is a character that will not directly translate from the toy. (Salty dogs don't look like a member of the village people.)

6. They'll screw up Cobra Commander with some stupid Middle east terrorist or rich drug lord story instead of the original megolomania that drove him. They'll make it about money, oil, or something stupid like corporate domination.

7. Destro could easily turn out as bad as Bane did in Batman and Robin. A super cool bad guy reduced to a monkey in a gimp suit.

8. Don't use real world tanks, vehicles, and weapons for Cobra. They always had awesome stuff, while G.I. Joe had real world equivalents.

Before I get too excited, I'll need to see a trailer. I was initially excited when the Snake Eyes info and pic came out, but The subsequent stuff has really made me wary. Scarlett is pretty hot, but show me Sienna Miller in a real Baroness outfit, and then we're talking. ;)

I found out about this last weekend or a little earlier when surfing lostncybr's site for BSG Costume references

I hadn't heard about it before and I was looking through the photos and went damn that guy could be the doppelganger for Dennis Quaid... turns out I was half right cause it is Dennis Quaid.

I have waited for this movie since, well, 1983... I'm not getting my hopes up tho, I liked TF, but there was a lot that was just not needed and didn't further the plot IMHO... however, Steven Sommers is directing and the mummy series and van helsing were well directed... so it's not michael bay yet... but then I'm still a little bitter that the desanto/singer duo didn't do the BSG remake... I'm headed over to the corner to cry myself to sleep :D

I can only pray, pray, pray Brendan Frazor is only rumored to play Gung Ho and nothing more. Being a Marine myself, I can only imagine an old salty Marine-type playing this part. Brendan Frazor just doesn't cut it for this role.
