Just so you know, the tornado did not hit Fairview. However Newtonia was pratically destroyed. Everyone got anywhere from 2" to Grapefruit sized hail! But no major damage on my part. :P ;)

I got to see a my first tornado in November of 06' late in the year, first came the hail and then the nado about 2 miles to the east. It was awesome. I got some vid of it somewhere. It went over a mobile home and damaged it, but there were cows and cars right next to the home that it didn't even touch. Those things act weird. Glad to hear everything is okay. My heart goes out to the victims and their families of the incident(s). I got to help with the one that went through some towns to the east of Chanute in 05 I believe. It was terrible. Cars in trees, trees tossed around like they were paper. The ground had chunks carved into in a circular motion from where the nado had been moving along. It is a sobering experience. There was just one fatality from that. An elderly woman, but still that was one too many.

My Mother in law lives on Reindeer Dr by the ENHS... and my former step father in law lives in Boulder City... I drill in Monett.

The Dad of a friend of mine lost his plane and part of his house and his hot air balloon trailer was knocked over not far from you as well.

take care
