Takin' the LEAP into TD
Okay, I am starting the process of turning my armor into TD armor. If I am going to do it I want to do it right. I started with my bucket since it is the one that everyone looks at first. I will do the other mods after some feedback from the group. I hope to at least have it dirty by the Zoo event. Let me know what you think from the pictures. They are not the best, but hopefully you can give some feedback... too much dark, not enough dark, too much altogether, not enough. Any feedback is appreciated.

Hey Joe,
Here are a couple of places that will help ya out with your weathering technique. In particular, I would highly suggest checking this site out:
http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/davin/re ... hering.htm
Another great site to check out is found here:

If you need a pack for the zoo event, you can always borrow mine until you get yours done. My MP3 is in use with my current costume, but if you get yourself a cheap MP3, I can put the sounds on the pack for ya.
Keep up the good work, bro.

Just finished it today! I think that it looks great!!! I guess I will wait until Friday to see what everyone thinks. I tried one technique..didn't like the results, tried another and still wasn't happy, so I made up my own. I think that it looks pretty good. I will take some pix and post them on the yahoo groups page.
Hey, can I also borrow your BFG Friday?
See you on Friday...

Now that's looking good, bro!!!! I can't wait to see it in person. By the way, I have some extra TD pieces you may be interested in.
By the way, you can go to www.photobucket.com and sign up for a free account. This is how you will be able to post pics. You just have to copy the URL and put it in your post and that's pretty much it.
Keep up the great work!
