Next week I begin five weeks of 'sabbatical' from my job. Part of the requirement for this though is that I spend 40 hours volunteering for one of several organizations suggested by my company. Since I have worked with them before through HotA, I chose Harvesters.
At the times below, I'll be working at their Volunteer Outreach Center.
Fri., April 24: 8:30 - Noon
Mon., April 27: 8:30 - Noon & 1:00 - 4:00
Tue., April 28: 8:30 - Noon & 1:00 - 8:00
Wed., April 29: 8:30 - Noon & 1:00 - 4:00
Thu., April 30: 8:30 - Noon & 1:00 - 4:00
Fri., May 1: 8:30 - Noon & 1:00 - 4:00
...(I'm packing it all into this one week because it's the only week where Sarah's maternity leave and my sabbatical overlap, so I need to finish the 40 hours by then so I can be home w/ the baby when she goes back to work)...
My challenge to you is this: Since I won't know anyone there, it'd be wonderful if some familiar faces signed up as well (contact info on the links above). This is wedged right between a couple of other 'charity events' that many of you will be participating in (the Trolley Run and Walk for Babies), so if you're also free during the week, why not make it a whole theme for the week!
