I'm pleased to report that the hand is healing nicely and that all the remaining parts have been primered and are drying as we speak!!!! Sorry, I don't have any pictures available. The battery for my camera is charging and my cell phone camera isn't doing it justice.

I'm a few days off of my previous schedule... the PC crashed and I had to get it back up and running. Tomorrow evening I'll be painting the armor, adding the detailing pieces to the armor (belts, etc), and the harness. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be to focus on the remaining cloth parts. The hood and capelet, the cape, and the pants. I'm not sure which order it will be in, but it will be one part a day.

My motto is something that was on a run of RL shirts a year or so ago:

my anti drug.
but drugs are cheaper...

it's addictive, and you'll never be done with a single one of them, but I'll be damned if I ever quit it. it's too much fun and put me in contact with some great friends that I'd do almost anything in the world for

look forward to trooping along side you in my nihilus :D

I finished the last fabric piece last night. After the dinner tonight, I need to work on the fitting of the slash piece around the torso armor, attaching the capelet clasps to the torso armor, and adding the rings to the lower torso armor. All are minor adjustments and additions. Depending on what time I finish at, I'll either post completed pics tonight or after Comicon tomorrow.

I finshed at 2:55 am, just in time for Comicon at 8:00 am. Some of you saw Revan at the event before I had to leave for a family medical issue. (At this point I think everything is going to be okay with that, we're just waiting now.)

For those of you that didn't see it, here you go:

In the photo with the mask, the belt-slash-ring attachment piece was incorrectly placed. It was re-adjusted to the correct position as shown in the photo without the mask.

Very nice! Absolutely LOVE the mask! Too bad I couldn't see it in person, Revan's always been one of my favorite costume designs!

Hope all is well on the family front! ^_^

I had to make a few modifications for Legion Approval. I replaced the original red crush velvet drape sash with Red Krinkle Velvet. It provided the pleat look. I replaced the bridging armor piece with a more detailed hand-painted piece. The "eyes" were re-painted from dark gray to light gray. I forgot to add the "hip ovals", which are painted gray. Velcro was added to the back of the handguards to prevent "flop-ups" and I switched shirts to provide for a longer collar.

Here is the costume with those modifications:
