thank you sir. i have bondo drying on the planes now to make that flare at the base of russian stern planes to the hull. ill get some pics of that very soon. i need to build the creep motors on the stern planes next once im done with the flare. then ill extend the stern in length. then its paint time!

fiberglass is finished, bondo is on! im soo glad this part went off without a hitch.

well, i started filling the control surfaces for a nicer fit. i also started on the creep motor housings.

i also finished fiberglassing the rib cage into the hull.

well, i built the search peirscope earlier this week, along with the other mast. last thing i have to do is the radar mast. i also extended the stern and poured it. its curing in the garage as i post this.

here the stern is with every thing mocked up. i will start sanding the tail in the morning

well, i managed to finish up the masts. now i will think of a way to attach them to the submarine. i will work on the stern some more today.

thanks Tim! i tried mounting the tubes to hold the masts in place today. here are some shots i took while the glue cures. ill post some more detailed pics once they are cured.

so today, the glue was finally dry. i did make the masts removable, using tubes some suggested, also gave them a little tweek so they are tight, but can be removed. i also mounted the safety railing. at first i was going to make it from brass rod, but after checking all the photos i have dug up of alfa it looks to me like they are shaped more like railroad tracks. i could be wrong, but i figured id go with what i see.
