Tusken rising
Hello, some of you all I've met and some have heard of me. I have almost all the parts for a new tusken raider (I'm awaiting the last parts this week). Been on the kraytclan forum since they just recently ratified new standards I've been complying to the new rules and I'm hoping to have the costume done by christmas (the very last dead line will be Feb). I'll post pictures of the costume as it comes together.

Yeah, there has always been something I liked about the tuskens, I'll be doing more of a Prequel Tusken rather than OT. The bandaliers/belt is almost completely done, the rifle needs the paint job (and I'll be doing a gaffi stick and the rifle so I have my choice). The last part I'm waiting for is the machined aluminum to do the helmet, I really can't start much on the helmet until I have those parts other than attaching the mask to the helmet back. And right now my seemstress (wife) and I are figuring out the best way to sew the monks cloth so I don't have to worry about it unravelling.

How are you doing the mask? I to am doing a Tusken . I have all the parts and now I just have to start the assembly process. I am using a SC headshell and am still looking for the best way to mount it. I will probably go with a bike helmet so I have room for fans.

I guess we should change the thread to tuskens rising. As many of you know do to an issue with a seller on ebay Dave ended up with two tusken head shells. One studio creations based and one godzilla kit. I would love to have multiple costumes to wear at cons so I have agreed to purchase the studio creations head shell. I should have it completed before visioncon. Here is the progress so far.
