70th Explorers help send kids to Camp Quality

Five 70th Explorers garrison members appeared at the 2nd annual Camp Quality basketball fundraiser in Cameron, Missouri. Camp Quality Northwest Missouri is a week long summer camp for kids with cancer. The camp is run by volunteers and funded by donations from the community. A local Cameron police officer organized the well attended event where our garrison members were able to pose for plenty of pictures with the local police and fire department families who showed up to support the fundraiser. KQ2 News was present to film a report on the event. Two garrison members also made a combined donation of $100 toward the Camp Quality fundraiser.
