I know it's early, but I just wanted to start gauging interest in marching in the 2007 University of Missouri (Columbia) Homecoming Parade. Being midway between KC and STL, I'm hoping a lot of you will want to take part! It's scheduled this year for October 20. A walking spot is $60, so before Brandon and I shell out the bucks, we want to make sure we'll have a pretty good turn out. It is one of the largest Homecoming parades in America, so it will give us a good opportunity for public interest and media coverage.
Gimme a "yea" or "nay" if you think you might want to do this!

Hello,
Im sorry to say, but Bernadette and I will not be available for the parade. We are autocrating a medieval re-enactment event that weekend in Fulton and will be busy from Oct. 19th to the 21st.
Regards,

It's hard to say if I can do this without seeing more details on it. I would love to do it, I'm sure faron would to. Where, when, you know that kind of stuff. Any info would help. I can ask off as soon as I can figure out if I am going to do it.

Both are in the first post

. Where is Columbia, Missouri. When is Oct. 20 2007. Time is still TBA at this time but should be starting around 10:00 am or so.
This is one of the biggest parades in Mid-Mo and will have tv coverage from three local stations.

I'd like to do it, I don't know about Faron. Pretty sure I could ask off for that day. Just a three hour drive, maybe less for us.

I'd be interested, but where would us out-of-towners stay?

Yeah, if you could arrange for us to stay at sorority house that would be acceptable.

As much as I've been trying to get into one of the sororities here (seems being a guy precludes membership

I can offer a place to stay for 2-3 folks. We have a spare bedroom, and also anyone who wants to bring a sleeping bag is welcome to floorspace.
We also have a fold-out couch, so we could probably accomodate a couple more.
I'll work on the sorority house angle in the meantime
