Although I've yet to make it to Dragon*Con I keep hearing from those who have that it's a good one. It's a premiere one for wearing costumes, too. I've been to the big Wizard con in Chicago and the fun KC Comi-Con multiple years, and one of these years I will make it over to Atlanta. 8)

I have been to D*C the last two years and it is all costumes all the time. :D

It is packed and busy. Be prepared for lines and non-stop crowds, parties and wild times. This is a con like no other that I have been too.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I will get to go this year, unless I find new roomies and of more importance a babysitter, since my husband will be heading to Kosovo in March. :(

But I can answer any questions you may have and I have pictures from the last two years here:

I also went last year and it was an absolute blast. You can expect to get very little sleep though, and it is all costumes all the time.

If there is any way I can come up with the money, I'll be going again this year.

I decided to take video and pictures of the parade instead of marching in it even though several of my groups were participating/marching in it.

Susan and I have gone for the last two years. I can't say any more than the others said, It is a blast and I love all the great costumes that people come up with.

Sadly we will not be able to go unless something comes up. the rooms are full and our little one is starting school a couple of weeks before.

I don't know if any one intrested .. But I can get a 16 passanger van between 350 and 560 to aweek(depending on current going rate at the time . split up by 7 troopers ( I'm sure we can shove 7 troops and equipment in it . ) at 7 passangers it be 50 to 80 dollars each plus gas.
