Is anyone going? My daughter Ashley and I will be going. :) We just went and applied for our passports today and I'll be booking our flight and hotel after I talk to some of our Japanese 501st members about where a reasonable place to stay is. We're going to go a few days before the convention and then stay a few days after so that we can do some sightseeing too. We are really looking forward to it!

Awesome! Robert and I was just discussing about traveling to different countries to troop at conventions. I know I will see you before you leave, but have a safe flight and an awesome trip there and back!

I would love to go to that but Mr. Wallet says I can't. :( That would be an awsome trip and you'll have to take a couple thousand pics to show us when you get back. :)

Such a wonderful experience. Japan is a very interesting place to visit...a little pricey, but well worth the trip. I haven't been to Japan for several years and I'm sure it has changed a lot.

Be safe on your travels and have fun! Like Curt stated, make sure to bring back lots of pics. :D

You're jealous? You don't dress in five lbs of frills mister! I would kill a man to visit Shibuya with a wallet full of cash.

That is a neat trip that your daughter will remember for the rest of her life! Your a cool mom. Mine just brought me to see ROTJ.

How do you explain to airport security your costume and gun? Are you suiting up while you're there?

I would kill a man just for the fun of it. Definitely kill to go to Japan. :D (anyone but the Emporer, Lord Vader, another 501st member, and anyone who puts a big wad of credits in my pocket).
