70th Explorers Garrison: Forums

Hello,

Im not an expert on Clone armor, so I need some help. I will be acquiring a clone commander helmet here shortly. The kind with the raising binoculars/visor.

What kind of armor does this go with? Is the clone armor from Ep II and Ep III basically the same and just the helms changed?

I tried looking on the clone attachment forums, but couldnt find any helpful information.

What color is your helmet? There are a few commanders that have the flip up visors such as Bly who is mustard yellow.

Basically the armor is the same. The major difference, which is very little, is the helmet (obviously) and elbows from EPII to EPIII. You could get away with the elbows as they are very similar to each other anyhow.

If you really want to get down and technical, the EPII armor has variations from the clone heros seen on screen and promo shots. CGI is such a lovely thing to work with.

The helm is not painted, its unfinished so I can paint it any color I wish. I will probably have the helm in the next few weeks so I can post some pictures then.

Who are you getting the helmet from? I can help in the armor dept. as well.

I've not worked on a Cdr, but I've put together two Eps II clones suits. I'll be able to assist, if needed.
